Class Descriptions


KIDS Cookie Decorating Kitchen Party – December 8 – 6:30-7:30 p.m. MT

Do you remember decorating cookies when you were a kid? Gluten free kids need to do that too and in this virtual class they can do it from home with other kids who also eat gluten free. During this class we’ll focus on different techniques with icing to create all kinds of beautiful and unique cookies.

This class is for kids to work at a level they’re comfortable with so all ages are welcome. Older teens can have a lot of fun too! 1 hour class, $15 per kitchen.


Understanding How To Use Gluten Free Flour – Dec. 15 from 7:00-8:30 pm MT

If you’re new to gluten free or looking to improve your baking this is the class to get started or take you to the next level. Join me on Zoom for a demonstration class all about gluten free flours and the New Basics for gluten free bakers. You’ll get all the tips you need to start baking the foods you miss.

Gluten Free Biscuits

Everyone needs a good biscuit recipe to eat with jam or go with a bowl of soup! Join me on Zoom for this class and bake along with me or watch and take notes. I’ll make two biscuit recipes, one with a flour blend and another with separate flours. With these two recipes you’ll be able to make sweet and savoury biscuits that can then be made into mini appetizer biscuits, Strawberry Shortcake, Cinnamon Rolls, Pizza Rolls and even a biscuit pizza. We’ll cover the new basics for gluten free bakers so you can incorporate these tips into your baking right away.

Master Gluten Free Pastry

Just in time for the holidays! Master gluten free pastry so you can make sweet or savoury hand pies, mincemeat tarts, pot pies, quiche and that savoury French Canadian Tourtiere. We’ll cover the New Basics for gluten free pastry and you’ll be eating pie by the end of the class.

The Art of Cinnamon Rolls

Using Zoom we’ll be making biscuit-style Cinnamon Rolls together. This cooking class is live for you to bake along with me from your own kitchen but if you prefer to just watch and bake after the class that’s fine with me. We’ll cover the New Basics for gluten free bakers and once you’re mastered this recipe you’ll be able to make mini cinnamon rolls, plain biscuits, cheese biscuits, a biscuit pizza, biscuit pot pies and even desserts like strawberry shortcake.

Thai Chicken Curry & Salad Rolls

This virtual cooking class is for 2 people working side by side. We’ll make a tantalizing Thai Curry and roll up some tasty Shrimp Salad Rolls with nuoc cham dipping sauce. It’s all gluten free and dairy free plus the recipes include suggestions to make both dishes vegan. This is the kind of menu that meets everyone’s dietary needs!
