Master Gluten Free Pastry – March 6

In this class on Zoom you’ll learn the techniques to make gluten free pastry. We’ll make Hand Pies during the class then you’ll be set to make Pot Pie, Quiche, Meat Filled Hand Pies and anything you want with pastry. We’ll talk about the pros and cons of the many different gluten free flour blends with tips to improve your baking. At the end we’ll taste our hand pies and have time for questions. Shopping list, prep notes and recipes provided.

This class is 90 minutes. Cost $25 per kitchen.


Rice Noodle Soup 2 Ways – March 17

In this class you’ll learn about different rice noodles and the many ways you can use them for quick and easy noodle dishes. I’m making both soups, you can make either one or both. Delicious Asian soups from scratch!

Gluten Free Breading & Batter -March 31

In this class we’ll talk about many options for gluten free cooks to bread or batter anything. Who doesn’t love schnitzel, breaded chicken, fish & chips, calamari, tempura and more. I’m going to dip chicken in batter and fry up some chicken balls plus I’ll pan fry some chicken strips with my favourite breading. Shopping list, prep notes and recipes provided.

This class is 90 minutes. Cost $25 per kitchen.


Understanding How To Use Gluten Free Flour – April 3 and April 14

If you’re new to gluten free this is the class to give you a jump start into gluten free baking. In this demonstration class on Zoom you’ll learn about many flours and starches, blends vs mixes and the New Basics for gluten free baking. There will be time at the end for questions and you’ll be ready to go home and start baking the foods you miss.

This class is 90 minutes. Cost $25 per person.
