I love to bake but no one wants to bake every day. Stovetop recipes are usually easier and quicker than baking and probably don’t involve flour. If that’s not enough here are three more reasons these Eatmore bars are perfect for late night cravings.

- Someone needs a treat and the kids are old enough to use the stove unsupervised. Yeah!

All you need for stovetop recipes is a pot and a pan.
- small of medium pot from a decent quality set of pots and pans
- any size baking sheet
- 8-inch square baking pan or similar
- parchment paper or parchment sheets
Fun Fact – Eat-More is a Canadian chocolate bar made with a dark toffee taste that’s full of peanuts and chocolate. This is my version and I’d love to hear in the comments below if you made them.

More Stovetop Treats

- 1 cup corn syrup or creamed honey
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 2 cups chocolate chips
- 2 cupa chopped salted, roasted peanuts
- Line a baking pan with parchment paper; 8” x 8” for thick bars, 11” x 17” for thin ones.
- In a medium saucepan over medium heat combine the corn syrup or honey, peanut butter and chocolate chips. Stir until smooth and remove from heat as soon as it comes to a boil.
- Fold in peanuts and pour onto the prepared baking sheet spreading the mixture right to the edges. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into bars, squares, triangles or strips.
- Individually wrap some for grab-and-go snacks. Can be stored in freezer.
